On Marveling at a Moment

As I grow up, I begin to marvel at lil things.
Because, I realize the lil things in life are actually the big things in life.

4 people getting out in the morning…coming back home after a long day…having chai together….seems simple enough.
Does it not?

Probabilistically and realistically, the occurence of that happening is so rare.

Hence, I show gratitude for that simple vanilla moment of togetherness with chai and the boys.
And, I try not go get too attached to that moment.
Because, I know by now, this moment will pass me by too.

The Story of 3 Monday Warriors

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…there lived 3 Monday Warriors.

They woke up on a Monday morning.

One went to high school and survived quizzes, tests and exams.

One went to work and survived meetings.

One just had way too much fun for a Monday.

They all came back home, shared a cup of chai and decided to take on the rest of the work that needed to be done on a Monday evening.

To all you #MondayWarriors and #MondaySurvivors – much love and light.

Come, let us have some tea and continue to talk about happy things. – Chaim Potok

When tea becomes ritual, it takes its place at the heart of our ability to see greatness in small things. Where is beauty to be found? In great things that, like everything else, are doomed to die, or in small things that aspire to nothing, yet know how to set a jewel of infinity in a single moment? -Muriel Barbery

Coffee & Chai

Friends are the most precious. Put those precious friends together with chai and coffee and you get a killer combination.

Coffe and Chai - Ambal Balakrishnan

On Friday afternoon, I was busy running errands. I stopped by to pick up Ari and his friend from my friend Shalu’s place and take them to a birthday party. To fuel me for the rest of the evening, Shalu gave me a cup filled with chai.

Today morning, I had to get up in the wee hours of the morning to accompany my gang for a video shoot on a lakefront. My buddy Venu gave me a togo cup of fresh brewed coffee..which helped tremendously with my grogginess.

I know what you are thinking – “She is such a spoilt brat”.

You are absolutely right.

Happy Weekend Y’all!
